A. It is based off a club of friends called Nega-Cool, now because they are in the world of Megaman. Nega-Cool was actually going to be the first name of the comic strip until I decided to make it a complete sprite comic.
Nega-Cool + Megaman = Mega-Cool
Q. Why are all the main characters animals? Are the Mavericks?
A. They are in no way Mavericks, and if they where, they would be really lame ones. The characters of Mega-Cool are Anthros (or Furries). Each character is based on animals that are most like their personalities.
Q. What are the characters of Mega-Cool based off of?
A. With the exception of the characters that are actual Megaman characters, all the characters are based off real people I know. I just managed to capture a little part of their personality and created a character out of it by the same name of that individual. Why I'm the idiot of the group I'll never know.
Q. What is the inspiration for this comic?
A. I had read a lot of sprite comics (Some of my favorites being "Chrono Trigger Rip-off" and "Bob and George") and had played a ton of Megaman X on my SNES. Somehow it dawned on me that I should start making a sprite comic.
Q. What is the line after the date on the updates?
A. I call this"Happy Thing of the day" Every time I update I'll give a new thing to be happy about. All these things are in direct order from the book "14,000 things to be happy about." that just screamed out for me to buy it from the book store.
Q.Who were those people in the last frame of Heat man and Met #4 (Comic 80)?
A. From left to right is Lyric (Reject adventures), Sid (My Friend the Shadow Man), and Jack Parker. Jack Parker is another version of me.
Q. Who is your favorite Mega-Cool character?
Probobly Metal Man, he's always the most calm and colected when stuff is going on. And of course Todd is also a fave, just because I always love the idiot in comics or anime.
Q. What exactly is Puu?
Puu is a super powerful android built to kill Dan. She has sinse then become less of a threat to our hero.
Q. Why isn't DJ in the comic anymore?
Yep, for you fans of the big bear, he actually was taken out of the comic because DJ started creating his own comics, so I simpily let him have his sprite. Besides, he was the one that created it anyway. By far, DJ left the comic on good terms.

For a while on fridays I was showing (in my update box) what the Mega-Cool cast would look like if they were all in an 8-bit format. They go as following:

In the "Metal man's new body" story arc Frank and Mark jumped two sheild guards (Sniper Joe) and stole their armor to fool RVM into thinking they were loyal henchmen on his side.
This is the sprite sheet containing every sprite of the two metalheads in their armor, or atleast beating up poor poor Sniper Joe.
